6 Cs

Why do we go to a doctor or a mechanic 10 miles away? Is he the most qualified? Probably not! But something says that I am dealing with a correct person. And what is that something? Yes, it is the trust factor. Trust in many ways is a much greater compliment than love. There are people we love but cannot trust. The patient does not care what grades the doctor got in the school or college. It is the people skills that make them either comfortable or uncomfortable. People like to deal with those they feel comfortable.

A person's likeability quotient depends on 6 Cs approach:

1. Character- Make integrity a way life.

2. Competence-  Acquire core competencies.

3. Clarity- Inculcate the ability to define clear goals.

4. Confidence- Develop humility and pride in performance.

5. Courage- Ability to stand up with integrity against all odds.

6. Communication- Communicate with clarity and confidence.
