What is Language?
The word " language " has been derived from the Latin word ' lingua' meaning tongue. The etymology of the word suggests involvement of tongue. It is somewhat true but not completely. An intense study of language would say that is something more than just the use of tongue. Since language became the objector study by ancient grammarians, it has had many definitions.
Language is a medium for expression of feelings, thoughts, desire, emotion, etc. or in other words a system for encoding and decoding information.
